The easiest way for Canadian nonprofits to stay on top of grant deadlines without expensive tools, endless Googling, or stress.
Let’s face it: finding grant deadlines every month is a massive time suck. You’re already wearing too many hats and now you’re supposed to scour the internet, bookmark funder websites, and somehow keep track of it all?
Nope. Not anymore. If you're tired of missing deadlines or spending hours each month searching for grants, you're going to love this.
The Grant Circle
Finding Grants Should Be Easy
The truth is, most nonprofits aren’t set up to succeed because the system is overwhelming as heck! It comes down to things like:

Not sure where to look or start

No centralized place
to find grants
You know there’s funding out there, but it’s hard to tell what’s current, what’s relevant, and what’s even worth your time. The info’s scattered, outdated, or buried.
Grant research tools are expensive and you don't have the funds for a dedicated grant writer. So you're cobbling together deadlines from newsletters, forwarded emails, and whatever you happened to see on LinkedIn.

Trying to do it all when you’re already overloaded
Let’s be real: finding aligned grants takes research, strategy, and a sprinkle of magic. When you’re managing programs, fundraising, and reporting... where is that time supposed to come from?
This is exactly why I created The Grant Circle, to take grant research off your plate, help you stay organized, and make sure you’re only applying to the ones that actually fit.
Introducing the Grant Circle!
Here’s What You Get Inside
The monthly grant deadline list is the heart of this membership: Every month, I roll up my sleeves and scour the internet so you don’t have to. I comb through funder websites, track down deadlines, and pull together a list of Canadian grant opportunities, sent straight to your inbox on the third Tuesday of every month.
Extended lists by cause area or Day of Significance: During Days of Significance like Pride Month, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and other key moments throughout the year, I’ll also share themed grant lists to help you zero in on funding that’s especially relevant to your community or cause.
And there’s more...
Your membership also includes bonus resources to help you apply with confidence.
These may include:
• Checklists, templates, or workbooks
• How-to videos or tools I personally use in my grant writing process
• Behind-the-scenes tips and insights to make things easier
What’s available right now:
✅ July 2025 Grant Deadline List: A curated list of 20+ upcoming grant deadlines for Canadian nonprofits, so you can plan ahead and apply with confidence.
✅ 100+ Ongoing Grant Opportunities Masterlist: An always-growing list of grants that are open year-round or have flexible deadlines!
✅ Surprise Bonus Grant Tracker Tool: Keep track of all your Grant Circle deadlines in one place! This tool helps you stay organized and makes it easier to reapply next year, follow up with funders, and spot patterns in your success rate.
And this is just the beginning! I’ll send you a quick email (on Tuesdays!) whenever new content drops, so you always know what’s available inside The Grant Circle.
You're probably asking...
Who is it best for?
You’re a nonprofit leader, fundraiser, or consultant in Canada who:
✔️ Wants an easier way to find grants
✔️ Doesn’t have time (or budget) for expensive databases
✔️ Works for a CRA-registered charity (recommended, most grants require it)
✔️ Is actively looking for grants within Canada
Whether you’re a solo ED, part of a small-but-mighty team, or supporting nonprofits as a consultant, The Grant Circle was made for you.
What are folks saying?
"I attended your seminar, met with you and see that you have demonstrated that you have excellent grant expertise and resources to share. I am confident the Grant Circle will help me elevate grant applications, tracking and success!" — Pathways (Grant Circle Member)
"I think this is a fantastic way to keep potential grants front of mind. We all work for organizations we believe in, so I want everyone to succeed in raising funds for their respective groups." — Stratford Film Festival (Grant Circle Member)
“I find your ideas and tips so practical and usable right away in grant applications. You often share grants that I was not previously aware of. Thanks so much!"” — Grant Cicle Member
Why just $9?
Because I want this to be accessible, especially for organizations with big missions, small teams, and even smaller budgets.
-
Hiring a grant researcher or writer? $60,000+ per year.
-
Most grant directories or databases? $500 - $2,000/year.
-
The Grant Circle? Just $9/month
And unlike most other directories, you're not left to figure it out alone. You're getting curated grant deadlines, helpful context and reminders, smart tools, and support from a real person who writes grants for a living.

I’ve got answers. Email me at Jessica@writtenwithpurpose.com
Hi, I’m Jessica
I'm a grant writer, nonprofit strategist, and founder of Written With Purpose.
Over the past decade, I’ve written grants for all kinds of nonprofits: from scrappy grassroots teams to large provincial organizations.
I’ve been the only fundraiser on staff, juggling grant deadlines in between galas, auctions, and year-end appeals. I’ve spent hours chasing down one good funding lead, buried in open tabs and outdated funder databases.
So I know how frustrating and exhausting grant research can be.
I’ve seen how the big orgs fight through red tape to find funding, and how the small ones often miss out entirely. I learned the hard way, over many years, how to navigate this world more efficiently and now I want to pass that along to you.
That’s why I created The Grant Circle: to give nonprofit folks like you a simpler, more affordable way to stay on top of grant deadlines, so you can spend less time searching and more time actually securing funding.
