TechSoup Canada – Technology Donations Program


Description: Provides Canadian registered charities, nonprofits, and libraries with donated and discounted software, hardware, and IT services from over 40 major tech partners. Supports digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and communications capacity.


Amount: In-kind donations (software, hardware, services)




TELUS Friendly Future Foundation Community Board Grants


Description: Funds grassroots charities that help youth and their communities thrive. Supports programs in education, health, and technology that create positive outcomes for young people.


Amount: Up to $20,000




ScotiaRISE


Description: ScotiaRISE is Scotiabank’s community investment initiative focused on removing barriers to economic resilience for disadvantaged groups, including youth, newcomers, and Indigenous communities. Funding supports programs in education, employment, and financial literacy.


Amount: Varies; typically small to mid-sized grants depending on program scale



TD Ready Commitment


Description: Supports nonprofit initiatives across four areas: Financial Security, Vibrant Planet, Connected Communities, and Better Health. Funding is provided for programs that improve equity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability.


Amount: Varies (no set limit; depends on project and stream)




Sun Life – Donations and Sponsorships


Description: Supports health, mental well-being, diabetes prevention, and community resilience initiatives across Canada. Also funds arts and culture, with an emphasis on accessibility and equity.


Amount: Varies; depending on project scope and alignment with Sun Life priorities


 

LifeLabs Community Investment


Description: Provides charities across Canada with support in the form of donations, volunteer time, and in-kind resources. Initiatives include employee giving, long-term community partnerships, and targeted grants for health, education, and well‑being.


Amount: Varies by initiative.



RBC Foundation


Description: RBC provides funding to charitable organizations focused on mental health, education, skills development, climate action, and DEI initiatives.


Amount: Varies by program; small to large grants depending on initiative and scope



iA Financial Group


Description: Provides donations and sponsorships to support community initiatives in health, education, social services, and the environment. Priority is given to programs with measurable outcomes and alignment with iA’s corporate values.


Amount: Varies; small to mid-sized grants and sponsorships




Costco Canada


Description: Provides charitable donations to nonprofits focused on children, education, and health. Preference is given to organizations operating in communities where Costco does business.


Amount: Varies; typically under $10,000




CN Stronger Communities Fund


Description: CN supports organizations focused on safety, diversity and inclusion, youth, and environment. The fund emphasizes local impact in communities along CN’s rail network. Priority for communities along CN rail lines.


Amount: Varies; typically small to moderate support for community-based projects
